When cleaning our home, there are many details we need to pay attention to. But they can make a massive difference in your home. Let’s get into 10 expert tidy home secrets you need to know! I will share those secrets with you so that you have your home clean and organized, ready to enjoy!
10. Declutter your Space
It is easy to say, but it doesn’t feel easy to do. People always skip decluttering, have to deal with it for longer, and spend more energy because we keep accumulating everything. If we could keep our stuff at a minimum and donate regularly, this wouldn’t be a long-term problem. So I have a plan for this, and I will share it with you! 9. Keep your Shoes Organized
First impressions are important! When someone comes to your home, you don’t want them to see your messy, dirty shoes. Keeping your entryway clean and shoes organized will make such a difference! I used this fantastic bamboo shoe rack and shoe organizer that you can hang on the door. The most important thing to keep in mind, though, is not to wear shoes inside your home! That way, you keep your home way cleaner!
As my morning routine, I vacuum and spray Lysol on my garage door and entryway! Because these are the two busiest spots in our home carrying all that outside dirt. So disinfecting this area is crucial!
8. Less Laundry Everyday!
Let me guess, you accumulate your laundry and fold it on a weekend day! Who wants to do laundry on the weekend? Make yourself a routine and do your laundry at whatever time works for you every day. So when someone comes into your or when you come home from work home, there is not a mountain of laundry.
7. Closet decluttering and Cleaning
This is another space; it is hard to keep clean and organized. But there are some tricks to that! If you get a matching hanger set for each clothes, everything will look organized and tidy. This will motivate you to keep it that way!
6. Clean Kitchen Countertop
The kitchen is the star of your home! If you see clean and empty kitchen countertops, you will feel your home is tidy and clean! I have a rule of an empty kitchen counter in my home. We clean the kitchen counters every evening because it is so satisfying to wake up to a nicely organized kitchen!
5. Allow People to Help You
This is so important, my friends! You can’t do everything on your own! Let your family help you. Give your five years old a chore or your teenage vacuuming responsibility. That way, you take care of your home as a family!
4. Buy Only Clever and Helpful Products
Instead of owning many cleaning products you use once a year, buy the once you can use for multiple purposes and often! Here are a couple of things that make everything easier for me! 2. Use Linen Spray
Making your bed is essential, but not right away! So let your mattress cool down before making it, then spray an all-natural linen spray to freshen up your room! When your bed is still warm, and you cover the blanket on a warm bed, it creates a perfect home to bacteria which causes the smell.

1. Make space for everything You Own
This is the most important tip! Everything stays tidy when you know where to put the stuff you have. You don’t see empty water bottles around or charging cables on the couch. Organize your cluttered drawers and countertops to make a home for everything!
