Vaseline is mainly used in skin care routines and home remedies. But I was so surprised how these three ways of using vaseline worked so well!
1. RUB YOUR STOVE WITH VASELINE
Vaseline works great for all that grease and marks on your stove while it also shines. You will not believe how easy it will be to clean your stove!
Here are the things you will need;
- Vaseline (our hero)
- Microfiber cloth
- Cleaning Gloves( gotta keep your hands young)
- Steel wool (to fight those grumpy grease marks)
Grab your microfiber cloth and start rubbing your stove with a small amount of vaseline to create a protective layer. Even a thin layer will make your stove shiny! I would do this once a month; that way, when you clean your stove, the grease will not stick as quickly as it would.
Next, you will need your steel wool to scrub those stuck grease marks. As you scrub them, you will see the spots removed! Don’t forget to use your gloves at this point to protect your hands!
I recommend using the vaseline before and after the cleaning to help get the grease up easier.

2. RUB VASELINE on YOUR PHONE
Yes! You didn’t read wrong! I am telling you, this trick will make your phone screen free from all the fingerprints and candy stickiness for a while!
- You will only need a microfiber cloth and vaseline for this super easy hack.
Get a tiny bit of vaseline on your microfiber cloth and rub it on your phone screen until you don’t see any dirt and marks.

Why do we use vaseline for this? Because the oil in it helps to remove any debris that’s stuck in here. Don’t get it in your speaker and camera lens! You will clean the front and the back of your cell phone with circular motions.
Now you are going to take another side of your microfiber cloth with no vaseline on it, and it will lift all the gunk stuck on it.
This will create a thin barrier on your phone to help you not clean it often.
3. RUB VASELINE on YOUR CLOTHES and SHOES!
- Can you guess how I used vaseline on my clothes and shoes?
I bet you also have clothes that irritate your skin because of the zipper and tags. Top of that, those zippers quickly get stuck, aren’t they? Here is what we will do!
- You will only need a cotton swab/ Q-tip!
Get some vaseline on the cotton swap and lubricate your jean’s inside of the button and the zipper. So that it will zip up easier and help it last longer because you are creating a barrier. It will also feel on your skin much better.
Then move to your favorite sweatshirts with a zipper on the chest and an irritating tag on the neck. You don’t have to try to cut the tag and accidentally make a hole on your comfy sweatshirt anymore! You will repeat the same thing and put some vaseline on the zipper and the tag with your Q-tip.
The white part on the bottom of your sneaker is called the midsole. Now, you also know what it is called! Well, it is not white anymore, is it? You are not alone!
Vaseline is going to help you out on this too! We will grab that cotton swap one more time and put some vaseline on it.
As you rub it on that white part, you will notice all the dirt and grease will lift up and shine your sneaker’s midsole! You can continue wearing your sneakers like new again!
