You will not believe how many ways you can use WD40 around your house! It is like a magic wand that will help you out! I promise my friends that these eight WD40 hacks make life easier!
1. WD40 for the Shower Bar
I know how annoying sticky shower bars can be! But there is a super easy solution for it. It will be enough to spray some WD40 on an old towel and rub it on your sticky, rusty shower bar! The bar will be nice and smooth again while sliding the shower curtain.
2. WD40 on Faucet
WD40 will also work excellent on faucets to make them look brand new! Rubbing some WD40 on your faucet with a towel will remove the water marks and dirt. With a little bit of spraying, the faucet will be shined up!
3. WD40 on Toilet Bowl
I know the regular house cleaners are not doing the same trick as WD40. Let’s say you have limescale and mineral deposits that you can’t remove. Spray your WD40 on these spots and let it sit for a few minutes. Then you will use your toilet brush and watch how quickly all the hard water stains and other stuff will be removed. All the dirt slides off because of the oil in it. I know it is not great that now the toilet smells like and mechanic shop from the WD40 spray. So for that, I will drop a couple of drops of essential oil here. It will help everything smell nice! I like using the lavender lemon because it’s citrusy and works amazingly for your bathroom.

4. WD40 on Shower Trim Plate and Handle
Another thing that there are always hard water stains on is your shower trim and handle! It looks so shiny and new now, isn’t it! It will be life-changing to spray some WD40 on it and rub it with a towel. Because it is water repellent, it s less likelihood of more hard water stains the next time you use it.
5. WD40 on Shoes
Speaking of water repellent, we are here in Minnesota, and there are tons of snow and salt during the winter. So I like to use WD40 as a water repellent on my boots. If you have any salt stuck on your boots, it will help! All you need to do is spay some WD40 on your boots! I am telling you, it works amazingly every single time!
6. WD40 on Carpet
You might also have a stain on your carpet for two years now, and you have no idea how that got there, just like me! We will use, of course, our magic potion of the day, WD40, on it! Spray some on the stain and let it sit for a couple of minutes! Then scrub the stain with an old toothbrush. The stain on my carpet was so stubborn that I also tried Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide on it and repeated the WD40 one more time. It did do its magic, and I have my clean carpet back!
7. WD40 to Remove Stickers
I noticed that my son put all these foam stickers on our table, and I could not get them off! Guess what? WD40 worked like a charm for this as well! Just spray some WD40 and let it sit for a minute. Then I used one of my favorite kitchen tools, a cleaning scraper. It does an excellent job of getting the sticker residue without scratching or damaging the furniture.

8. WD40 on Vehicle Windows
If you also get lots of snow and ice where you are and leave your car outside, you will want to try this trick! You don’t want to return to your vehicle left outside and scrub the ice off your windows. Get a little WD40 on your microfiber towel and lightly put it on your window. This is going to repel the ice and snow. So that you spend less time scrubbing ice outside, I love this hack that it also shines everything up nice!
