This simple anti-fog trick will clear up your windows & mirrors and make them sparkle.
Do you hate having fogged up mirrors after the shower? How about fogged up car windows? I live in the midwest where it gets very cold. As soon as I open the front door to take my daughter to the school bus, it gets caked with frost.
This picture above is on a good day too! My mom also likes to keep her front door open in the winter to let some extra sunlight in.

One day she asked me “Do you know how to keep my front door from fogging up?” I heard about shaving cream on windows and doors BUT did it actually work?!
I put the shaving cream to the test on my mom’s door and the results were surprising…..
You can see on the top it’s totally clear! On the bottom, I did not apply any shaving cream and it’s all hazy and fogged up.
I decided to try this on my own front door. I grabbed just a little shaving cream (a little goes a long way) and a microfiber towel.
Again, I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn’t believe this anti-fog hack actually worked!
The clear spots are where I applied the shaving cream with my microfiber towel.
Now, you may be asking how long does this anti-fog hack actually work?
For my mom’s door it lasted an entire day. For my door, it’s still clear over 1 week later.
Shaving cream is made mostly of water and alcohol, which brings the freezing temperature of water down significantly. As a result, you melt the fog and ice.
