You purchased an expensive and nice pot or pan, but less than a year later, their bottom is covered with stains, right? I had my friend reaching out to me having the same problem. I helped her out and returned her pots like brand new! Here is the best way to clean the bottom of the pots and pans! I have found this way super helpful, and it actually works!
Here are the things you need:
- Gloves
- Easy Off oven cleaner
- Brillo pads
Let’s make your pots brand new! First, you will spray the easy off all over the bottom of your pot. If you look at the instructions for the easy off, you can see that it allows you to leave it between 30 seconds to 1 minute. So let’s let it sit for a minute and see how fast we can get rid of these stains. After spraying, you will notice how quickly it starts actually working and lifting off the stain. If you think the stains on your pot are pretty bad, you can also do the second coat, but I only did it once in this project.

Put your gloves on and rinse your pot. Next, you will get one of the brillo pads and scrub the bottom of your pot. If you think there is a little more gunk here and there, you can scrub it one more time, and it will come off nicely.
I also did the same process on the bigger pan I had with more stains. It worked perfectly, like in the first pan. I think Brillo pads do an excellent job for this cleaning. It’s worth seeing how its magic happens.

After nicely scrubbing and rinsing Viola! You have your pans looking brand new! I can’t believe how fast this hack worked! I think baking soda and vinegar do the job, but for these stains, using easy off is the best option!
