Here is the first thing you should do with a new bottle of olive oil! If you are getting your olive oil from Dollar Tree, this is a $1.25 trick!! Let’s shine things around your house! I will share ten things you should do when opening an olive oil bottle!
1) Olive oil on your Appliances
Grab a microfiber towel and put a little olive oil on it. Your fridge and stainless steel sink might be full of fingerprints from your kids. You can wipe them up with your microfiber towel and olive oil. This will help to repel future dirt, lift things and shine everything up! No scrubbing and scratches!
2) Olive Oil on the Door
Our mudroom door likes to squeak, so I used some oil for it. I rubbed the oil on the hinges on both sides, and it doesn’t squeak anymore!
3) Olive Oil on Oven Door
You can also use the oil on your oven door if you have a squeaking problem! It will do the trick! I have used WD40 for it before, but the smell of it is not the best.
4) Olive Oil on Feet

Is your ring stuck on your finger and swelling your finger? It happens to me, especially when I eat a lot of sodium or in the summer months. You can easily remove your ring thanks to oil.
7) Olive oil on Wood Boards
Do you have a wood-cutting board you want to revive? You can rub olive oil on it will shine like new!
8) Olive Oil on Zipper
If your stuck zipper makes you frustrated, you can use olive oil. It is the simplest way!
9) Olive oil on Hands
Just like you used olive oil for the dry cracks on your heels, you can use it for your dry hand. Wear mittens before bed, and you will wake up to the softness on your hands!

You can use olive oil for the stuck stuff inside your toilet. WD40 does the job too, but since it doesn’t smell well, I prefer using olive oil. Put some olive oil in there and rub it with your toilet brush. It will also help to repel future dirt stuck on the toilet.
