Let me know if this happens in your home or not. The garbage piles higher and higher, yet no one is taking the initiative to take it out. It gets to a point that you can’t fit anything in! Everyone has pushed, jammed, and crammed to avoid the dreaded job. Don’t you wish you had a great life hack for this?!

By the time you decide to take the garbage out, it’s so difficult to pull out of the can. It’s like a vacuum seal has trapped the bag in the can. I also have young kids. I am trying to teach them young, but if they can’t lift the bag it’s almost impossible.

Here’s my easy garbage can life hack:

Drill two holes in the front or side of the can and voila! The full garbage bag will slip right out AND the new bag will easily go in without all the air bubbles.

I also keep extra bags at the bottom of the garbage can. The next time you will have one ready (this is handy in the garage too). Now, there are no excuses around your home when it comes to taking out the garbage (at least we can hope).
