Steam is the best way on tile floors, but there is one ingredient that works perfectly on hardwood floors. That one ingredient is Murphy’s Oil Soap! It looks like honey and smells delicious!
I use more than one mop head for different areas. Especially in the winter, with all the salt in the entryway area, you might want another mop head. I always keep an extra mop head around and use a different one for the bathroom. You can wash them like you regularly clean your microfiber towels. I used the Libman mop to clean my hardwood floors. Our house is over 4000 square foot, so as you can imagine, I needed a mop that I could work on quickly. The Libman mop has been in my house for years and still works perfectly.
Let’s get into cleaning your floors! Simply place the mop head and prepare your solution for the floor. Take the removable fill-on and add some warm water in there. Then add a teaspoon of Murphy’s Oil Soap. Next, place the container back. One of the reasons people have a hard time making the right solution is because they either add too much water or soap. But with this, you will have an excellent airy spray!
